Hearts Tattoo

Hearts Tattoo is a tattoo co-working space set upstairs on Kembla Street in central Wollongong, on Dharawal Country. Rather than running a single house style, it brings several independent tattooers together under one roof, each looking after their own chair and their own bookings.

The space was built to be comfortable to work in and easy to be tattooed in, on the idea that artists who work the way that suits them produce better tattoos and a more relaxed session. Alongside the resident tattooers, the studio hosts rotating guest artists, so the line-up shifts through the year. It suits people who like to research and choose a specific artist rather than be handed one.
