About Sin The Skin

Sin The Skin is a custom tattoo and body-piercing studio in Hillcrest, roughly half an hour south of the Brisbane CBD. Trading since 1993, originally as Browns Plains Tattoo, it is one of the longer-running shops in the area.

The centre carries a full-time crew of tattooists alongside an apprentice and dedicated body piercers, covering a broad stylistic range: Japanese and old-school traditional work, portraiture and colour realism, plus mandala and henna-inspired ornamental pieces. Walk-ins are welcome and consultations are free, so the door is open for a quick chat about an idea as much as a booked session. The shop is Health Department approved.
